Bear Cub Mandarin Immersion Preschool Academy is offering a 5-week music course! Designed by former YAMAHA instructor Chi-Chen Chang, this program combines listening, singing, playing, and reading to make music learning fun for children.

Teaching Approach:
Integrates YAMAHA’s teaching philosophy with rich training in musical sense and rhythm.
Cultivates focus through engaging methods.
In class, familiar tunes are used for singing, solfège practice, and musical sense training, allowing children to joyfully sing melodies.
Fun song lyrics are incorporated to explore dynamics and expressiveness.
Children use their bodies to feel the music and immerse themselves in beautiful melodies, making music their good friend.

“Energetic Adventure”: Children embark on a joyful journey, encountering different animals along the way. Ants, crabs, snakes, and caterpillars inspire varying vocal expressions.
“Sun & Moon”: Children explore dynamics by comparing the sun and moon.
“Pots & Drums”: Children guess what sounds elephants, bears, and squirrels would make when hitting pots and drums.
“Oh My! How Wonderful”: Children engage in dialogue with clouds, cats, and birds using musical instruments.
“Finger Dance”: Finger exercises involving counting and movement.
“Grandma’s Joy”: Grandma enjoys playing the piano keys with her five fingers and creating delightful sounds.
Parade Time:
“Here Comes the Parade”: The weather is great today! There’s a drum-playing gentleman, a small band riding on a lion, a bear happily shaking a tambourine, and an alligator rolling on a big ball while singing. Let’s join the parade!
Class Schedule:
Dates: June 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29
Morning sessions: 9:00-9:45, 10:00-10:45, 11:00-11:45
Each class accommodates 5-7 children
Recommended age: 3.5-5.5 years old
